Seems to be only running on two at the moment, and a bit sluggish, but hopefully performance will pick up once I fix the misfire.

Dead right. Just the right amount of couldn't-give-a-damn. Convertible too.

All that coolness disappears as soon as you realise you are driving what is more like a crisp packet on jelly.

Pas du tout, mon beau gars.

Just because you can't go fast, it doesn't make it a crisp packet. Sometimes you don't need to go fast.

I have hankered after one for years and now wish I had done it sooner. You wouldn't want to go too far in it but so much fun - and at speeds that don't endanger or upset anyone. Plus parts are ludicrously cheap.
Bought it for fun and to learn more about spannering.
Only issue is my daily driver is a RS6 so need to remember which car I am in before attempting overtaking manoeuvres wink

Wendy house maybe. As for jelly. I actually think the suspension is superb. Have you tried one - incredible ride and surprisingly tenacious in corners given it rides on 125s and does lean a bit. Not that any of this that matters when you are in one - unlike Porsches. Nice to be able to chill.
