05 DB9

I have an 05 DB9. For reasons unknown one of the front headlights keeps going out after it's been on for a while. It comes back on when it feels like it. Have had the bulb & ballast replaced.

Earth problems?

Anyone experienced similar.

Probably the ballast or bulb on the Xenon light giving up the ghost, I'd say it's the ballast.

I had the plug on the bulb of my 05 DB9 come loose and would do the same thing. I put a little crimp on the plug to help it bite a little firmer on the bulb and that helped keep it in place. Just a thought.

Fyi.. Such a pain in the a$$ to access that plug. The lead on the harness is so short and the access hole in the back of the fixture isn't really in a very desirable spot for working the bulb.

The new ballast came with new leads so shouldn't need to improve the connection.
New ballast, new leads(2), new bulb. Wiring or earth? Surely not the headlight unit?
