Cars you never see being driven quickly...

There's certain cars that are only ever seen to be driven slowly, no matter the age etc of the driver.

I'll start it off.

Any Korean car: Daewoos etc
Rover 400
MPV versions of hatchbacks (eg. Focus CMAX)

Micras, with the exception of someone I know who'd grow horns behind the wheel of a dumper truck if he found the loud pedal. He has a diabolical method of overtaking too - on the motorway, tailgates to the back bumper of whatever's in front, then sharp *right*left* into the outside lane. Any journey with him is bloody scary.

I'd say the vast majority of MPV's as well but I've seen a couple of nutters in a Dci Megane Scenic and a Zafira GSi on the M6 in the past few months.

Any of those Japanese wardrobes-on-wheels - Suzuki Wagon R/Vauxhall Agila/Daihatsu Move etc. Largely because if you took them over 40 mph they'd be more unstable than Israeli politics, and if you park them in any kind of exposed conditions out of the protection of some buildings, they'll blow over unless you put a few rocks on the roof to hold it down.

Korean cars are never seen going fast 'cos they are not capable of going fast - even when you paste them... you get loads of noise (And not even a nice noise) and absolutely no speed and lots of rattles. By the time you get it into 5th gear (About 2 seconds after a standing start without trying to race it!) it feels and sounds like you should be going at least 180mph, but when you look at the speedo you are lucky if you have broken a 30mph speed limit! (Hmmm, maybe I should keep it - it'll sure stop the scams from getting me!!!)

How do I know this so well? - Guess who has the company 'sin-bin' (High 'n' Dry Elantra) for a couple of days? That thing is unsafe at anything approaching 70mph!!!

You've obviously not driven the most recent Hyundai coupe.

Not all Korean cars are crap, it's just the ones you see most often.
