Alternator Wiring

Have I put the wires to the right terminals.

Big cable goes to the battery and on a terminal by itself.

Smaller two cables that go into the cabin (one small wire, one larger but smaller than the battery cable) on the other terminal.

Just found an image of it before removal. Two biggest cables together on the bigger terminal.

looks like the middle size cable (yellow crimp) is an auxiliary feed to something?

It serves the cars electrics. Swapped it onto the battery cable and now have power into the cabin - plus the ignition - so the car now turns over.

Got good turnover, oil pressure comes up. Nothing appears to be leaking - other than the thermostat housing.

Not firing though.
