Two weeks into my ownership of a 996 Targa and the sun comes out! Perfect.
It then decides to sound more like a transit diesel than the 3.6 I was assured it was fitted with. Much forum scouring and desicions of which shiny new exhaust system to choose followed until yesterday when I finally got it to a ramp to survey the damage.
One £4 gasket and three bolts later, the 3.6 is back! I'm sure life with this car won't remain quite so inexpensive but it's a nice start!
