Hi
I am restoring a 1959 EB50 special with a Halifax chassis.
There appears to be some parts missing that attach the rear Ford axle to the chassis. It came with a pair of (new) Spax shocks with no springs, and no bracket, or link to connect them to the axle at the lower end.

Does anyone here own a Halifax chassis?, if so, I would be really grateful for some pictures or even parts to solve my problem.
Thanks
Andrew

Sorry I can't help with the parts, but I'd love to know more about the project. What was the original vehicle like. Was it a commercial special or a scratch build?

Fairthorpe Owners Club (http://www.fairthorpescc.com/) has a Historic Specials Registrar - Richard Disbrow .. He has some interesting cars but also a good archive of content.... good place to ask.

There is at least one Rochdale with a Halifax chassis as well ... "Roger Coupes Riviera" ... http://www.rochdale-owners-club.co.uk/Ownerspreoly...

I guess you already found this ... http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/halifax-special-bui...

There is also the Historic Specials Day at Burford in August when like minded people get together ....

Cheers

Chris
