Wedge clock surrounds
Discussion
Hi Everyone
New to PH and relatively new to TVR.
Bought a 390SE about a year ago and finally got around to sorting her out.
The question I have is I saw on the forum a wedge dashboard where the clocks had a chrome rimmed edge, are these special clocks or are the chrome rims a separate parts, if so does anyone know where I can buy them from.
Also looking for the vent covers on the dash that blow on the windscreen mine are cracked, can anyone shed any light there?
Cheers

Hi guys
Thanks for the welcome, feel like part of the family already :-)
Don't have many pics yet but here is one from when I bought her (all credit to PH member Pault007)

Currently in with Heath and Paul at Ex-works TVR, then some cosmetics hence the Q re clocks.
Thanks for the info on Leigh, will try to track him down as those surrounds do set it off.
Brent.

Hi I've been making them, as well as some other bits.
Send me a PM and I'll get back to you.
As for the making them for the S, it should not be a problem, would need exact measurements, ideally would be good if a few people needed them as its easier to make in batches (min 3 is best), unless they are same size as the wedge.

If they don't fit can you ask kindly if you can take a paper imprint, just put some paper over the hole, and run a finger round and it should take an imprint (helps if finger is slightly dirty) I can then take measurements from the paper.I wonder if these would work They are for 52 mm VDO gauges, and are available in different colours and sections. Slow turnaround though.

The main problem with those they are designed to go over the gauge so the recess in on the inside.
On the wedges the walnut dash goes over the gauges so you need a recess on the outside.
Just show what mass production can do to a prices, the material costs me, more than they charge for them finished.
