If you are thinking of keeping the 'Dip' for more than a year or so, I would suggest spent a little more and get it done in Spray Wrap Pro and Autoflex top coat, A lot better than Plastidip in that you can Sand, buff and polish it, it is scratch and fuel resistant, (petrol melts plastidip), It has the the same gloss as OEM topcoat and will last many years if looked after.

These colours are just pigments. A lot of places sell them. They are another seller of them and give them different names to appear unique.
Plastidip is perfectly fine if looked after. I've had on cars for years.
Verdict is still out in swp and af. I rejected using / selling it after some things I seen.
There are other better products out there now

Are you meaning Halo? I think its pretty much the same as A/FPlastidip is perfectly fine if looked after. I've had on cars for years.

Halo is one, my own is another, there are a few out there now. I been in the dip game pretty much longest in UK and tried pretty much every product out there.
But as a seller I need to be 100% sure in what I sell, and for me the way I gauge it, is I will only sell what I am prepared to put on my own cars.

I am not slating Plasti dip, It is great as a tempory colour/effect change but for a more permanent, worry free coating then the 'hard'coatings are better. There is an infinite range of pigments, pearls, colours and effects, people just need to hunt through the different distributer such as (yourself) Matt Pack, Didspade, DYC, Pearls and pigments, KP to name but a few and find a colour they like, In saying that the largest single range for colours and pearls is by Matt Pack

Yeah it is getting there. But the invictus is the same pigment as DYC ZTN or whatever they call it and same as KP version etc.. they all give diff names to appear unique. Whereas I can't be arsed with all that and to me a blue-purple chameleon gets called blue-purple chameleon lol. Same as it did 20 years ago when we were painting them (before most of these new applicators /suppliers were even born).
But for me with the af and halo you pay a premium for same effect. They all look great in the pics but orange peel as hell. Unless someone spends a week sanding and buffing I don't see the point. Plus their are many pictures out there of mine and people label it AF (Lewis, who did yours, has AF pics on his website that are my gloss lol. And even shows off pics of my cars to demo af?)

I admit the orange peel is noticeable, and may be a pain to sand but I would rather have super high gloss that is super flat and glass like, I agree that a lot of people like the Matt finish, that's what makes us individual, but there is no denying, whether it be plastidip, fulldip, autoflex or any other peelable coating, it works out a lot cheaper than normal paint and you can change your mind and peel it off fairly easily. Can't wait to see the Sag, I don't like marmite though
The Matt-pack gloss finnish looks fantastic in the pictures and videos on the website, Although I understand it is a lot more difficult to spray.
I'm planning on trying this as a DIY job so will probably go with one of the blue pearls with the satin Finnish for a first attempt. But would like to try the gloss in the future, maybe on my kit car.
