How close are you to your classic in years?

I'm about 6 weeks younger than my Spitfire and ~1 and 2 years younger than my 2.5 PIs

My Mexico was built early December 1968 with me being born on 19th October 1968.

One of my standard searches on ebay at the time was '1968' in 'watches' and 'classic cars' which led to me buying the Mexico unseen from Rome. I still haven't bought a 'birth year' watch!

I'm 4 and a half years younger than my XK150, but I think it's got more get up and go than I have, at least that the way I feel today :-)

I'm 7 years older than my 1981 'classic'. Never really thought about a car from my birth year although I used to own a 1974 Triumph which would have counted.....

My 1971 Mustang was one year away from my year of 1970. I just happen to prefer the 1971-73 Mustangs above all else.

However, my 1971 Mustang has turned out to be a very early one and was actually built on the 25th September 1970. I was born in November. Close enough, and a rather nice surprise on the Marti Report.

Couple of months between me & my Corvette C4. Previous Porsche 924S was 2 years older than me. I have a Pinarello bicycle from the year I was born too
