Creaking car when steering

Hello everyone, I could use some advice. My car has started creaking like crazy!

It's got worse since it's become hotter. It's going in to the garage at the end of the month to the original place I bought it.

Kwik Fit had no idea what it was, I think it's the bushes but I'm no mechanic and I'm going from what is online. Hopefully it's not the steering rack!

A couple of thoughts; might be an idea if you get out of the car and turn the steering with your left hand, being outside, might help you to identify where the noise is coming from? I'm wondering whether that sound is actually coming from one of your suspension coils that's trying to turn when your turning the wheel? Might of been better to have had a helper turn the wheel for you, while you try and work out exactly where the noise is coming from?

Forgot to add, might sound obvious, but have you checked the power steering fluid?

It sounds like a shock-top bearing to me, but could be the spring also as above.

You really need someone under the car when there is weight on the wheels to try to trace where it is from though.

Thanks for the advice everyone, the dealership are actually going to look at it tomorrow and sorted it then hopefully!

Will let you know what it is once I find out incase anyone else has issues in the future, hopefully it will help them

All fixed! It was the strut top mounts
