Ski Whizz Watercraft
Discussion
Hi Everyone,
New to PistonHeads as a member but have visited occasionally. The reason for my post is... I'm trying to find a personal watercraft called a Ski-Whizz. I had one in the early eighties and it was a real hoot. See image.
If anyone can point me in the general direction of one I will be very grateful.

I'm sure someone posted on here a while ago about these and I'd really like another one.
Many thanks,
Mike

Yeah, it was certainly more exciting when it was choppy. I used it mainly on a couple of lakes in Lincolnshire that were set aside for those new-fangled jet-skis.
It was even more fun with the 25HP Yamaha engine I used the next year!!
Even with the 9HP Mariner it would be on the plane in seconds and then it was controlled like an aircraft. A rudder bar steered the motor left and right and the control column moved the ailerons meaning you could bank it into a corner at silly speeds and it behaved like a small jet. Great fun.
