What's the most active forum for the BMW e39?

[wibblebrain]

Have just bought an E39 BMW I'm keen to join a forum for the best advice from existing owners. There seem to be a bunch of different options, but some of them seem rather quiet.

Is there a consensus on the best / most active E39 forum from which to seek advice?

This is the 1 that I used when I had a 540.

Does anyone know what happened here?

The original UK e39 forum page was really good and then disappeared because of technical problems with the promise it would come back.

Forum has been down for some months as it suffered some serious technical issues when moving to a new server. Most of the content has unfortunately been lost in the process. Has been on Facebook in the interim. https://www.facebook.com/groups/forum.bmw5

Looks like they were hoping the forum would be back up and running today.

It's nearly there and the Beta testing has gone well so far... Have a bit more patience; it'll soon be back
