A shame they can't employ some ex-English Electric engineers to re-spec the cable recoil spring on my Dyson. At least it might have an excess of power rather than not quite enough to deal with the last 100mm of cable.

Wasn't until I saw one close up at Tangmere that I realised just what a size the Lightning was. Really surprised me.

After my Euromillons win, I intend to do the same (in the west wing atrium you understand biggrin ) very lucky, what a fantastic and inspirational thing to see when getting a coffee.

Or re-spec the internal channels so they cant get blocked by a couple of leaves

I grew up in Norfolk and the road to Norwich ran parallel to the runway at RAF Coltishall. It was awesome to watch the Lightnings take off - off the runway, wheels up, point the nose at the sky and off they went. Fabulous things - 2 bloody great engines with a chair strapped to the front.
