Hi all,

Does anyone know what would cause a Cat failure at 45k miles,

They are replacing both, but should I be worried about what caused it, or
Are these known to fail?

Many thanks

Mine have just started to go on my Turbo. Standard exhaust, 72k miles, as near a makes no difference to 15 years old.

Started struggling to pass the MOT emissions test. Hydrocarbons on the emmisions test are well with tolorance (120 - 200), but the O2 is high.

I've just put it down to age and the CAT material slowly deterioting. The plus side is, I've just ordered a Miltek.
