Rear windscreen drainage
Discussion
So my boot is a small swimming pool today, which is nice - carpets currently drying on the line. I know the issue is caused by slow draining/partially blocked drains on the rear windscreen, I can see the holes in the rubber at the bottom of the windscreen but I'm not 100% sure where it's meant to drain out of - is it these holes?

If so they are definitely totally blocked as if I put water down the hole on the rear windscreen it just sloshes under the rubber and round the side of the boot.

Not too sure on a Vantage, but on a 9, the water should run down the rear screen and then around the gutter channel around the outside of the boot seal , down the gutters either side of the boot and then down over/under and behind the taillights.
If your boot is full of water, your most likely cause would be failed taillight seals where the bolts hold them in.
Do you have good seals around these fixings as there should be rubber washers in there?

Hmm, not sure its the same on the Vantage, or if it is, what's the point of the holes in the gutter channel at the bottom of the windscreen? If it was meant to flow around that channel it may as well run across the rubber rather than under it?If your boot is full of water, your most likely cause would be failed taillight seals where the bolts hold them in.

Seems to be a common problem when the drainage gets blocked, but I'm just trying to figure out which bit is actually blocked.
