Wonder what happened? I was watching this just out of interest and thought it sold.

Presumably someone didn't read the description and expected it to be mint and perfect. Looks a good price and a nice straightforward fixer-upper.

thats all very odd to be honest as I spoke via email to the chap that bought it ( he got in touch via here ) and let him know what had been done to the car in my (gulp) 6-7 years ownership . My thoughts being that it was fundamentally sound and bar an odd bulb or whatever it would sail through an mot and provide him with at least 12 months hassle free motoring. Well i made that last bit up but dft240y got me in an out to the city whenever the sun was out or I had an argument with Mrs G , so can't ask for more sound than that surely? I did point him in the direction of you guys on the wedge forum for advice so maybe thats what scared him off????

No bids so back on flea for £1800. A bloody bargain - an almost economical TVR. I need a bigger garage to look after cars like this.

Ive just tried to talk the wife into having a "nice little silver convertable" all of her own.

She was dead keen. Right up until she saw it was a tvr :-(
