Recently got a 2014 a4

From what I've read online it should have an audi music interface but can't find it

All I've found is a sd card socket and an auxiliary socket which doesn't seem to work

Also no option to Bluetooth music?

My last car- a 2014 golf had both of these

There should be an AMI socket on the left hand wall of the glove box, you'll need a special cable that you can get on eBay for about a tenner that will hook up to a phone or iPod. If you press the media button on the centre console and play with the options there should be an upload option which you can pull music off the phone or SD card and store. Some don't have Bluetooth music capability, again I think you can find the option under media>select source if it's available. It's not the most user friendly system to be honest

Not had a chance to look into to the Bluetooth yet but there's no socket in the glove box

Just half a key with no internals - not sure what it's for

Ah in which case I don't think you have the full AMI that I have had in my last couple of cars. Sorry can't be of any help!

Yeah if It has AMI you'll have a socket in the glovebox. It's a bit over-rated though, USB and AUX do the same thing really

My S5 has Bluetooth Audio but only via the Kufatec Fiscon retrofit, not sure whether the standard Audi official version includes.

It's certainly there on 2015 cars, but I suspect you need the nav option to get it. A bunch of extra audio-related features seem to come with the "MMI Navigation Plus" option.
