Headlamp washers ???

I have an oblong hole just forward of each headlamp and wondered if it was fitted with a washer kit at some stage, does anyone else have them fitted or is there another reason for the holes.

Some S's were fitted with headlamp washers, so it is quite possible that your car may have had them at some point.

Thanks, I thought that might be the case, I'll have to try and source some, at least it will look better than the holes.
