997 Gen 1 Navigation Module

HI. I have a 997 gen 1 with the factory Navigation module, but there does not appear to be an option to enter postcodes, only "Coordinates" on a Latitude and Longitude basis.
Is this normal, and is there any update that is available to get it to accept postcodes instead?

It will recognise the first 5 characters of a post code. Just simply start entering a post code on the address line and it will accept it. There is an upgrade available for the later PCM 3.0 units but not, AFAIK, for PCM 2.1 which was fitted to the gen 1 cars.

I removed mine altogether last week as I got fed up with the outdated look and feel. I now have a parcel shelf there for my iPhone. Mines a GT3 though so I don't need any music system, although I do have some options I'm looking at for that ... No idea how to get the image to display right way round but you get the idea ...
