And here we have the newly overhauled rebuilt SR Battle of Britain Class 34052 "Lord Dowding" heading a rare stem football excursion to take Crystal Palace fans to the last match of the 2016 English premier league at Southampton. It is in fact not really 34052, but rebuilt West Country Class 34046 "Braunton", having been renamed to celebrate 75 years of the Battle of Britain. The loco is owned by Jeremy Hosking, who also owns 25% of Crystal Palace football club, - The Eagles.
