I have a small oil leak that drips onto the near side chassis (leaves a couple of spots on garage floor) and I am told a sticky thrust bearing in the clutch (squeals when selecting 1st gear on first start up).

My local garage that services my eurobox has kindly offered the use of one of their lifts on Saturday morning to pinpoint the source of the leak.

For those of you that do your own maintenance. Where do you source things like new gaskets and clutches etc?

There are lots of Land Rover & Range Rover specialists in the UK which are a useful source for engine bits. One of the most comprehensive stocks is held by Rimmer Brothers - www.rimmerbros.co.uk/
Of course you're ordering for a TVR, so you have to be sure you're ordering the right component, but lots of people use them.

Brakes are Ford, so again as long as you know what you're ordering, a Ford garage or motor factor is often cheaper than TVR.

Anything bespoke TVR obviously has to tbe obtained through TVR - or a specilist who may offer original or aftermarket equivalent stuff at a better price. I've owned my Griff for 18 months and only bought a wishbone and an exhaust mount sourced from TVR!!

Just be very careful and chcek and double check as there is a lot of variation and while many parts may fit they are not the right ones and can lead to all sorts of problems.

One final point just because someone says it fits it might not on your car, So check and double check.

I will look at BBs site, but I do take Steve's point fully and I think I will play safe and go dealership for anything I am not 100% sure of.
