I found myself with range anxiety last week after finding myself no where near a petrol station whilst in the red.

I'm not used to a range of 150 miles or so, so my plan was to buy a jerry can to have a spare 5lt or 10lt?

Does anyone else have experience doing this?

PS - I only try to use Shell Vpower since that has the most horses apparently, but furthers my OCD to ensure I have the fuel I want.

I don't carry any spare fuel, but well done on the range, superb effort clap

Nah, not trying hard enough, y record is 55.8 miles full to "I REALLY need to find a petrol station".

Used to, years ago, when tanks were smaller and stations fewer, especially in remote areas. It's fine. Get a decent quality can with a good seal and spout arrangement. These days I just use them for lawnmower fuel.
