Police "too busy" to arrest drunk driver?
Discussion
This week they were too busy to arrive on our village green before a bunch of those wonderful multi-cultural grass-s
tting stream-pissing everything-stealing local-kid-beating "travellers" turned up. The police were called at least an hour before the twunts took a gate down and drove all over the village green (they first went to another site in the village but obviously decided it wasn't amenable enough) but failed to show until after residence had been taken. Nett result, they're still there 2 days later. Could have been stopped.
There is actually video of a friend's wife, who was home when they turned up, trying to stand in front of them to stop them getting in and being told "move out of the way or we'll f
king run you over"; to the best of my knowledge plod haven't done anything about that yet either.
I know their job can be tough, and I usually defend the police wherever that's appropriate but the overall response to this, and to the same sort of event last year, and to the fact that a public meeting was held to which the police were invited but didn't send so much as a PCSO, is pretty indefensible.
