clutch pedal postion

im enjoying the first 200 miles of my 1998 chimeara 400,and finding im changing gear virtually with my toes! can the postion of the pedal be altered or is this anouther joy of TVR driving?

You must have very small feet. Are these the original black pedals?

The pedal itself has a long threaded bar off the back of it that passes into a threaded section on the "arm".

Undo the locking nut (7/16" from memory) and spin the pedal round... there is about 4" of travel available... and tighten the nut up hard afterwards.

PS. I'm 5'8" and managed ok with this, but had to get the pedal extended for my wife (5'3") to drive the car.

The very nice people at Leven do an extension set for us shorter-than-average people

You get so much adjustment you can seat the set back a notch so you're not up against the steering wheel and you also get a fully adjustable throtle pedal as well. Well worth it if you are a little lacking in the hight department like me!

Glad someone posted that info, its not in the bible (or I haven't found it) and I need to put my pedals back.

I'm 6'4" and have the seat all the way back, still need a couple of inches though.
