I had a good look at my chassis yesterday with the new owner and thought that on my next car (whatever it is)
it would be a good idea to get at the top of the outriggers with some decent waxoil or sticky stuff because any old crap could be sitting there.

Is it feasible to unbolt and lift the body high enough to get at this area?

And...if so, specifically what do you need to undo?
I would like to give mine a better go than usual this spring after all this salt on the roads.

i would say it is possible to lift the body partially as i have heard of outriggers being welded in this way , there are copious amounts of bolts to remove and you would have to remove them all to save stressing the body ,
also depends how high you want to lift as to wether you need to disconnect wiring etc

, but i reckon with all the bolts out you should be able to lift
enough to get to outriggers etc

if i recall correctly i think there are 12 bolts in all

On the S its fairly easy to clean out the top of the outriggers as there is about an inch of space

However on chim griffs etc there is no access
