Check out the heft of my kettles.
Discussion
Powerhouse owed me money so I asked them to deliver me some 16kg kettle bells.
On the website they looked quite normal, though perhaps I should have twigged the implications of "vinyl kettle bell"....these bad boys are bloody massive - included is my size 10 foot for comparison.
There is no camera angle trickery involved, I virtually need to do box splits to do KB swings, the handles are so wide, and once they become wet - well, there could be a risk to passing aircraft.

I plan to return them to the local store and part-exchange them for some proper iron ones. Though I haven't yet worked out how I am going to carry these heavy, awkward and slippery bleeders through a busy city centre without maiming someone.

You should have realised that, seeing as they're vinyl!
Swing it length ways and you won't have the handle hitting your thighs.
The handles are so thick I can barely close my fingers round them. And I don't have particularly small hands.Swing it length ways and you won't have the handle hitting your thighs.
I have a KB with a wide-than-average handle that I like to use. Admittedly, it's rubber-coated with a clever texture so grip doesn't diminish when your hands get sweaty. http://www.argos.co.uk/wcsstore/argos/images/31-91...

Mine however are like greased horse cocks even when dry.
