Just been sent this - it seems real, certainly the reactions suggest so, unless it's a deliberate Christmas party special,(like the rude Rainbow clip). Wonder if it was actually broadcast?

Mmm, dont know - there were a couple of examples of real live broadcasts which did have "rude" words in them. But thats the luck of the draw.

However, having seen a couple of these on programmes before (wife is a big Countdown fan BTW) I recon its edited. There is NO WAY that a word like that would come up and both Carol and Richard wouldnt be laughing their arses off..... I have seen much lesser words and they have been on the floor!!!

There was also a big jump from the first part of the word to the second. Edited? From what I can see yes....
