Specialized Diverge A1. New bike advice
Discussion
Hello all
I am looking at upgrading from my hardtail and have seen the Diverge A1 as a possible choice.
I am spending 95% of my time on roads, and i want to start commuting to work 13 miles each way. Living right next to woodlands and a canal i would like to still be able to go off-road. So i'm thinking a cyclocross/adventure bike would be perfect for my needs.
I was originally looking at Hybrids however i gather these are more for cruising around a city etc. With me wanting to commute i am best getting something more geared towards the roads. Plus my girlfriend has entered us for a few 50mile charity bike rides later in the year.
Are there any other bikes out there for similar money? £800. I am planning on keeping the hardtail however space is a premium, most likely i am going to have to get rid of the hard tail to make way the new bike. Having a bike i can do a bit of everything on is probably going to be most sensible.
