Would you sell your keep forever cars to buy your dream car?

I have two cars I would never sell, one is my pride and joy. (sometimes nightmare)
But I worked out the other day that if I sold them both, I could just scrape one of my dream cars.
My 1916 ford speedster and my TVR.

That Speedster and Riley *drool* gorgeous cars.
I can't really say I have a forever car as I haven't owned it that long (I always think you need fond memories in a forever car) but if ideas of up sizing the house weren't on the table I could see it turning into a forever car.
My wife has one but luckily its not worth much, so it will hopefully always stay.
With regards to trading them both in for a dream car its a hard one, I don't think I could but I guess really it boils down to individual sentiment - looking from an outsider I would say the Speedster and Riley are comparable cars in a retro niche, and the TVR gives a bit more of a modern thrill so maybe you are better keeping both - but that Riley is stunning..

Apparently we only live once, so I am of the opinion that if you can just about afford it, BUY your dream car and tick that box.

I REALLY like your speedster, bet that is a lot of fun to pop around in.
Currently have a 59 Willys Hotchkiss Jeep which is WAY way more fun than I thought it would be, and 66 289 Mustang which again is much nicer to drift along in as its completely original and standard apart from a re-spray. Jeep, I would say is a keeper, Stang I bought as an investment but its growing on me

Im a bit anal and tend to keep my cars rather than chop and change > better the devil you've fixed etc.
The down side is you don't get to experience a plethora of cars, life is short.
Ive now adapted my dream of a Porsche 550 (bit pricey) with a Frogeye. A 550 replica would have also worked.
Interesting also the reality of cars you lusted after - the Esprit S1 and Fiat X1/9 were too small for my long torso, even though I am only 6ft.
Once you get a few cars they can be a bit of chore and dont get driven much so i can understand of downsizing to get the one you truly want - because you only have one bum.
The down side is you don't get to experience a plethora of cars, life is short.
