How often do you reset the adaptive maps?

I have the software to read all the relevant info from the ECU etc and I was just wondering how often people reset their adaptive maps on their speed six engines.

Does anyone reset the maps at regular intervals or recommend doing so? Can this help keep things running smoothly or should you leave it alone and only adjust when something steps out?
