New car & DB9 Field service Actions
Discussion
Hi, well I've finally done it and brought my first Aston Martin DB9 YEAH!!!!! can't tell you how happy I am.
Drove her home today, 100 miles, and absolutely fabulous drive fantastic !!
Got a quick question, in the owners handbook there were 2 field service actions carried out in 2009, with numbers 162 & 165, does anyone know what these are??
I will post up photos of my new car over the weekend.
Thanks
Paul.

Congratulations. My DB9 has proven to be one of my best purchase decisions and one of my greatest sources of pleasure.
Action 162 is "Software that changes the operation of the Heated Rear Window (HRW). The HRW will still operate for 21 minutes, but the new operation gives 7 minutes of constant operation, then one-minute cycles on and off for the next 14 minutes."
Action 165 was the replacement of the original dipstick with a shorter version to reduce the potential for engine damage when underfilled with oil.
