Fiat Seicento Abarth

New toy. 2002 Fiat Seicento Sporting with the factory Abarth kit.

24k miles, 3 owners, full history etc.

Drives like new (did 228 miles bringing it home today), interior like new, couple of minor car park dings need sorting & had the usual red painted metal / plastic fade.

Smitten already. My Seicento Schumacher is the only car I've sold that I really miss!

The Abarth Seicento is the only car I have ever purchased brand new, mine was on a V plate, great little car, which was really quite fun down the lanes, trying to carry as much speed as possible without braking

I visited Van Aaken after a few months for a few upgrades, which really helped with the performance and overall experience

I sold it after 9 months as my daily work journey increased to 100miles/day and I found the Fiat too tiring for longer trips

We then purchased another Abarth about 4 years ago for my wife, which blew a head gasket as we drove off the dealers forecourt, the dealer sorted the issue

It was £1295. Comes with the original spec sheet, dealer delivery pack etc & 6 month warranty

As much as I am into Italian cars, as a beginner driver the safety ratings of the Seicento would make me reconsider...

I'm guessing my first car MK II Escort was a lot worse. Better off teaching kids to be responsible than to rely on NCAP Stars IMO.

The problem is it's not always down to your kids. There's also someone else's kids. Or grandparents. Or whoever else, that might be at fault in the crash. Despite my love for Centos (had a Sei and Cinq myself), I don't think, in today's day and age, I would buy one for my kid as a daily. Think they'd make a great weekend car though and, especially the Cinq Sporting, will become collectible. I've been semi-looking around for a silver Cinq Sporting in good shape for a long time now here in Poland (where Cinqs where massively popular)- not luck yet

Used to have a cinquecento back in the day.

Amazed there are any left on the roads it was so badly put together.

Great fun little cars, owned a grey sporting with orange bits of trim really enjoyed it! Go-Karts!

different generation of cars unfortunately


how many bhp these got? always loved my sisters cinquicento - and always remember a turning test on cars and these cars always performed high

Well I drove one for 3 years previously and survived, plus our kids spent 4 years riding around in the rearseats of a morgan - with no apparent safety features and survived that too

Cool, I almost bought one a couple of years ago for £900 - I still see it around sometimes, and wish I had - it was low miles and pretty tidy like yours

Great little cars

I had a yellow sporting for 14k very hard miles and it never put a wheel wrong. I think I drove that car for the sake of driving more than any other car I've owned.
Great fun with sticky tyres and good brakes fitted too
