Driving towards Studley Castle Sunday afternoon (1.30pm or so), saw a gorgeous gun-metal flatnose coming the other way. Unfortunately the missus was driving the Fester, so didn't have chance to flash/wave/whatever.

Haven't seen one for ages, love the design...and the power isn't bad either!

What's the price of one of these, and are they as good as they look?

hi guys, If you want to see the largest collection of 930 Flatnose's then go to the Porsche show at Brandshatch August bank holiday (27th & 28th) Last year Barry Smith(who runs the 930 turbo SE register) managed to get 10 of us together on show ( I acquired my black 1989 930 a year ago) This year he is hoping to get 20 of the original UK 49 together.

If there are any 930 owners out there who havent contacted barry you can do so through the Porsche club. or i have no doubt he will be looking in soon.

I forgot top add they are better than they look an absolute dream car and most owners will be reluctant to part with them. So ones for sale are very rare. I have attached a link of one I do know is for sale.

They are worth every penny trust me, so raid the piggy bank and good luck.

Gmund always have nice and rare Porsches in stock! There was a road registered GT racer 911 last time I went in. The boss had threatened to take it to the local supermarket just to see the look on peoples' faces!

Talacrest, Egham had one for a while, but don't know if it was genuine -about £35K.

I would so rather have one of these than a later model. The styling of nose finishes off the vehicle in the way that it should have been done from the start. BUT if they had have made all 911's flattys they wouldn't have been half as special.

Maybe a flatnose 997 should be on the cards????
