My 17 year old son has been reading it for 30 mins and it is quite amazing the number of electronic gizmos are engineered into the car.
Hold down the down shift when in first and it will move to Neutral.
Engine revs rise when you open the door while the engine is running.
Hold the unlock button down for more than 2 seconds and it unlatches both doors.
The highlighted gear number turns red when you hit the rev limiter.

there are a hundred and one other things we may never use, but the attention to details is incredible.

"brake disc wiping operates automatically when the windscreen wiper is switched on. it prevents moisture build up on the brake discs during periods of heavy rain, improving braking performance"

I wonder if you will find that on a 488 cool

Don't think mclaren are the first to do the brake disc clearing thing. Think bmw did/does it too. Don't think even the dealers know everything that goes on with the cars tech wise

IIRC it was a Volvo introduction?
Either way it works better on my BMW than the McLaren frown

I read my manuals (including the IRIS one) front to back several times whilst waiting for my car hehe
