A bit of a quiet afternoon so i thought I'd ask a question.

I'm off to watch the Polo at Guards polo club, Windsor next month.

What should I wear to feel I "Belong"

Jokes and serious replies welcome ;-)

Thanks

No idea smile

This may help Polo Club - Facebook

Scroll down a bit through the photos and it begins to look as though just about anything goes; from t-shirts, (and unsurprisingly) polo shirts, to sports jacket or blazer with/without tie.

Bearskin hat, Hussar jacket, cavalry breeches, sword, facial scarring. Speak with an outrageous German accent.

IF you want to really fit in with the polo lot wear whatever the fk you want they will all get sloshed, coked up, head to the Belve, brickies or Sun for more drinks before they then go for a further bender at someones farm and then drive home after a few more bottles so they can do it again the next day.

If you want to fit in with the spectators go as a stereotypical upper class numpty, under no circumstances drink lager.

I hope this helps.

Do not wear white jeans and a polo shirt unless you were playing in the match.

Seriously, if you are staying for any after events then check the guards dress code (smart cas, shirt, blazer, trousers, shoes), if you will not be in the club house then decent jeans, shoes and a polo/rugby style top is ok.
