Valuing Comics....

We have been having a bit of house clear out ahead of the arrival of B.J.W Junior later this year. A lot of it is car boot/charity shop stuff, but I've happened across a number of Star Wars Weekly Comics. I'm struggling to recall how they came into my possession, but as I forgot that I had them in the first place I was wondering if they had any value attached. A few quid would go towards the nursery fund (or failing that, maybe fuel the cars for a couple of days).
I have no idea on how to 'condition' the comics, other than to say they are all in excellent condition and in protective wrapping. Three of them.... issues 3, 4 and 5 are all protected by card. To be frank, they don't look like they've ever been read. I've 17 in total.
Any advice would be appreciated. I am not a comic collector, so really have no idea if they are worth a few pence, or possibly more......

I have looked on E-Bay, but prices vary. To be frank, it's probably where they will end up, but always keen to seek advice from PH given the range of knowledge and expertise on almost every subject.
