Picked up on Friday where to get headlights?

Yipeeeeee only waited 40 years but at last my own TVR [Chim 400 "N"] and I LOVE IT! I may have removed a least 1/2 an inch of tread from the rear exiting the forcourt (opps forgot it's not a Scenic).
And after heafty research on tyres, hot start, reliabilty and at least a month of looking at various sites, driving it back from London I almost had to pull over for laughing when apon turning on the lights none of the dash lit up!!
Anyhoo just a question that I am sure has been answered zillions of times where do I get these speed 12 headlights from and how much are they?

Last question when the 'ell is this weather going to clear up as I do NOT want a flat battery.

In case you missed that, the answer is by your left knee in the form of a button.

A push button. just to the left of the steering columm adjuster, underneath the front of the dash facia.

If you've managed to open the boot. it's like that, but the other side of the steering column!

It's really a button similar to the boot release but by your left knee.

Mine does not idle that high but it is a bit lumpy on start.
So... go on then why-does-it-idle-fast? anything for a new owner.
Also is it normal to go round the town in second as third seems to high a gear (for 30) or should I read ALL the threads

Yep. I'm often in second round town. Apart from anything else it keeps the soundtrack interesting.

I don't think you need to read all the threads, but you could try searching for one with "stepper motor" in it.
