The commercial value of a live mobile telephone number?

[PurpleMoonlight]

I have noticed lot of listings on Ebay recently that are significantly under value and which request a mobile telephone number to be provided to discuss a sale.

I assume they are just looking to get numbers to sell on.

This 'seller' as 60 listings:

What is the commercial value of these numbers I wonder. Anyone know?

Seems a hard way to get a decent amount of numbers.

I'd suspect that they then want to do a 'deal' outside of eBay/Paypal's protection where the price & authenticity would suddenly no longer be in the buyer's favour!

Scammie than a scammy thing...... Clicked on a couple of their items for sale and most of them aren't on there.

Indeed, these people seem to be hacking normal ebayers accounts.
