Allergic Eczema treatment

Any advice on treating allergic Eczema rash & itchiness?

Flared up last week and getting worse despit taking antihistamines, using Ucerin cream and aloe Vera.

Causes were garden weed killer on the skin and chlorine from jacuzzi.

Topical Steroids. You should be able to obtain some by speaking to the pharmacist.

Oilatum cream has helped me. You can get ut from big pharmacies.

Works reasonably well for me also. Doesn't stop it or get rid, but certainly eases it. My yearly event keeps threatening to kick in as we get warmer sunnier spells, but then fades again as the weather fortunately keeps cooling off but I know its coming

I suffered with mild eczema/sensitive/irratable skin for years. The main areas were my legs. Washing in the bath or shower were a nightmare which usually meant getting dosed up with anyihestamines and even then I'd be in pain for an hour or two afterwards. I tried almost everything, prescribed and non prescribed, with no joy. Then I came across a moisturiser called Amlactin. It is by far the best purchase I have ever made, ever!

I've been regularly treating mine with a prescribed combination of emollient cream (Zerobase) plus Mometasone Flurate for flare ups.

I suffer badly and this really does keep on top of it

Doc's prescribed Betnovate(R) to be used in conjunction with antihistamine 4 times a day / as necessary.

Level 3 (of 4) steroid cream he reckons.

I had eczema on my hands. Nothing else would shift it. Dr gave me betnovate rd. It took a little while but that was the only thing which completely cleared it up. Everything else was just managing or reducing symptoms.

Betnovate is what I was on before Mometasone. Didn't really work for me after a short course but I hope it does for you!
