I went for a walk across the fields at the back of my house yesterday PM (Kent) and there was 7 to 8" of snow!

I've given up driving the BMW as it's too slippy out there, now in the freelander which is permanent 4WD and excellent on the slippy stuff.

Here's a few pics

Me thinks you got them photos off a xmass card. Far too picturesque to be this country. We got bright sunshine here up north. Still only zero degrees though. Even too cold for me with roof off

Honestly, the first two were taken on Monday morning at 6:30am, one is our front garden and the other is the rear garden overlooking woodland.

The other photos were taken yesterday afternoon in the woods and the fields behind our house.

I struggled to get the BM up the drive yesterday, it was so slippery.

The Tiv is tucked up in the garage, no snow, ice or salt!

Hi Kevin.

I can vouch for the photos...thats Kevins garden OK!

More fun this morning, back wheels sliding down the camber on thick ice whilst the front kept it in-line.
Still snowing really hard here in mid Kent.I closed the office lunchtime yesterday so all the girls could get home(bless!)but I waited till a nice layer had settled!
No fun on longer journeys though as many roads and motorways closed.

Hi Tim

It looks a bit different covered in snow though doesn't it!

I've heard the snow is bad over your way, been wondering how you've been getting on driving in the S. I wouldn't dare take mine out at the moment .......it's still SORN

Mine looks like a filthy drowned rat at the moment.
It will take a month for the garage to dry out, let alone the S!

Could not even get the S up the drive last night when home from work,it just slid everywhere but in a straight line.
Had to leave it out overnight
This morning, temp -7,ice everywhere inside ...started first turn!
