Where to steam clean & waxoyl my 993RS?

Jack it up , take the wheels off at the end of the winter[or if ur a masochist as many times as u like ] warm soapy water and sponge and it ll be as good as it gets , maybe jethose up bits like upper rear wings .................its galvanised and painted should nt be problem ................steamcleaning can lift all sorts of bits !
Vic is spot on, first time is a messy one, but then gets easier. Wax oil is terrible stuff, and needs to be retreated yearly really. As it dry out and creates damp/corrosion potential pockets.
My cars are as shinny underneath as the top, once washed off and dried properly, you can then spray with duck oil, which is cheap, and has great searching qualities, and watch it disappear in to all the seems etc. Spray on with a garden sprayer, and let it dry off, with not to much on the exhaust system.

What is this duck oil and where can I get some?
Paul, popped the engine on the rsr at Goodwood on Monday, think its a rocker , Steves had no time even to open it up yet. GT2 will be there without LSD and on road tyres so no taking the p ..., have extra supply of right hand indicator bulbs !!!!
Will certainly need a warm spot to get wheels off etc after this w/end to clean it up !!!

Burzel -did u mention in a previous post you were experimenting with some rust proofer / water repellant, or was this Duck Oil?

Mutipurpose service spray, displaces water, prevents corrosion and lubricates. Effectively penetrates to help release seized parts. Can be used on almost any surface. Non conductive. Silicone-free.

The duck oil is available every where,its a old version of a wd40 type oil,but a lot cheaper.
As melv said try screw fix.Its great stuff,if spraying it,buy a mask.Its not nasty stuff though.If you use ,a garden sprayer or a hand held garden/water sprayer,its fine with out a mask,out side.

Best underseal I have used was recommended by a bodyshop friend of mine - Tetrosyl Black Wax.
Stays flexible, doesn't crack and lasts for years. Can be a bit messy to apply and really needs to done with a ramp and airline underseal gun.
Take the top off of the container and warm it with a blowtorch until the wax is liquid and then attach to gun and spray.
I have applied this to two old RS Escorts and it certainly lasted well and did the job.
One bit of advice is to wear a hat whilst spraying!!

Just of J11 of the M1, is an indutrial truck steam cleaners. I paid the guy £25 cash, and he used superheated steam at huge pressure, to get the underside of my car spanking. As it was steam and not water, it dried out real quick
The only nervous part was having to drive my car up on very very high concrete ramps....
