MOT tommorrow and main beam fault

Hi, MOT booked and I have an issue with the N/S main beam being about 50% brightness on my pre-cat.

Replaced the headlamp connector, tried a separate earth but no change.

Any ideas where to look anyone? Is there an upstream connector somewhere?

Sorted now, was a bad connection inside the bayonet housing onto the main beam reflector back, I must admit I always thought they were sealed beam units. Never had to take one out before.
