Accumate charger ?
Discussion
Leave it plugged in, I plug mine in every time I put the car away in the garage.
I got fed up lifting the bonnet to attach croc clips, so I fitted a 2 pin socket in my front number plate.

ive used them for a couple of years. fit the wire
and connector directly to the bat. terminals. all you have to do is pop the bonnet and plug in. ive had
them pluged into my harleys for months at a time .
they are meant to be left on all the time as they cut in and out automaticaly. the idea of them was to stop vehicels fitted with alarms from draining the bat.
theyre great.

3 metres of cable from Maplin run from the battery into the boot over the passenger side wheel arch and spliced into the supplied connector. Gives me about 1 metre of cable in the boot for a bit of flexibility. I taped about 4inch of the end in white insulating tape so I can even find the thing in the dark!
The charger lives on a shelf over the garage door and the cable drops into the boot to connect.
Can't drive off and forget it and its left permanently plugged in.
Never failed yet.
