2.5 TDI AKE quattro sump

Bought a cheap A6 avant last week for my commute. I was told during it's MOT that there is an oil leak and that I should get it checked.
Garage looked underneath the car and and I was told it would require a new sump. Also, oil is not coming from anywhere else which I believe is a common problem with these engines.
However, upon looking for a replacement, there appears to be several different variations of the sump for the 2.5 engines.
Anyway, is the sump for the AKE different compared to other 2.5 TDI engines or will another fit?
