Boot won't open

My car is getting me back for storing it for five years. Anyone know how to get the boot open if the button on dash won't do it.

Do you hear the solenoid make any noise like it is attempting to open ?

if so try getting a friend to push down or pull upwards on the boot lid whilst pushing the open button, this may take some of the pressure off and allow a tired solenoid to open. Once in you can then check for dodgy connections & or replace a tired solenoid.


Otherwise there is always the secret way, but that info would have to be obtained via PM, as nobody should post that on an open forum.

Thanks chaps got a message from wildfire nowt from you paul the reliable PM not working to well. I will give it a go tomorrow as I promised my girlfriend a really nice night out, well my favourite Indian Takeaway LOL
