Hi All.

I recently replaced my Lambda's and the Cerb runs better but after speaking to Andy at APM I need to reset them and the ECU.

He's booked until mid July and my Local TVR place (Southways) do not have a cable etc for Cerberas.

I want to try and get it running right before popping down for MOT etc.

I am wondering if there is anyone near Fareham in Hampshire that has the software/lead that may be able to help for some reimbursement?

Thanks in advance for any help/info.

The original PC version of the software is available here http://www.tvr-cerbera.co.uk/software.html as are instructions for building a lead. There is also an Android version that Aide wrote and instructions for leads in the sticky "RS AJP" at the top of the forum.

If you are going to work on a Cerbera the diagnostic software and a means of using it is an essential part of your tool kit (as is the workshop manual). You cannot get an AJP set up and running properly without it.

Sounds like you guys are sorted

If you get stuck I have a spare lead I can lend you, and you can easily run a Windows Virtual Machine on a Mac or a modern PC using Virtualbox

Here's me running the software on my Mac

Lots of discussions about the leads etc. here too

Hi Steve,

I think I'm in the same position as you, but a week or two behind!

Car's running a little rough at idle. I have a cable on order waiting to plug the car in as see if I need to change the lambdas.

I was gong to pop into Southways tomorrow for a bit of advise.

Let me know how you get on.

BTW I'm also near Fareham.

I am down in Southampton on Sunday doing a power boat racing day, would it be worth me bringing a laptop, cable and software with me and plunging both cars in and seeing what is what?

You sir are a gent!

Thanks for the offer.

My problem at the moment is that as it is not MOT'd I cant really drive out much.

When I have driven it, it has been on the way to and from the garage/MOT station to have work done and I currently have the calipers off due to a broken nipple.

I have dropped you an email with my number on it if you wish to discuss and mabey we could sort something.

I have just ordered the cables but no idea when they will arrive.

Are you using the software from here ?

You could use my software as an alternative, better support for more COM-Ports / USB Converters and newer OS:

Apologies for hanging off the back of this post.

My cable turned up today so this evening I'll plug the car in and see what shows up.

The issue is intermittent low revs at idle, which gets worse when the engine is warm. I also think it's over fuelling as the exhaust is quite black.

I'm using Evo Olli's software as my version of windows is too new.

Cheers smile

I would suspect a faulty lambda with these symptoms.
