Audience voting; text or keypad

Has anyone used the audience voting systems? I want to buy one and I have used the Turningpoint keypad systems at a university but it is costly to buy and I was thinking about a texting based system.

Has anybody bought a system and what do you think of it?

Used them successfully on a number of occasions; have not bought one though, only borrowed.

I have bought a 2nd hand 32 hanmdset Optimex Turning Point version one for £220 from Ebay. Best buts seem to buy from the US.
