Anyone been to Epernay in the last couple of years? Which champagne houses did you visit?

Guy Charbaut - first class champagne & hospitality. Their B&B is excellent!

Did Mercier and Moët, both worth a visit. Also really enjoyed going into the little ones - Collard-Picard have a little shop that does tasting and was lovely.

I'm buffered if I can remember the name of it, but we also found a little shop/restaurant in the town that did tasting flights, accompanied by a black pudding rillettes. Double thumbs up from me.

Mercier tour is always interesting. De Castellane is more basic but quite interesting.

I highly recommend Villa Eugene as a place to stay.
