Strange behaviour this one......

Parked up on the drive, locked..... Go back out to the car and the offside side repeater is just flashing?? Front and rears not following suit. Unlock car, it continues. Ignition on same thing and when I started it up?! Only when I turned the indicators on in that direction and back off did it stop.
It's fine now.
Any ideas? Sticking relay? But wouldn't that affect front and rears too? Or do they have separate relays?
