Hi all was looking at maybe purchasing an Xbox one bundle from GAME but am confused as there selling a 500GB with fifa16 for £299 but the 1TB with fifa16 is £279!!! Why is the bigger memory Xbox one cheaper? I'm confused can anyone shed any light on this because it doesn't make sense! Or is Microsoft forcing us into a 1TB purchase???

I'd get the 1tb one then! Game are famous for weird pricing, its the only shop I've been in where second hand games cost more than the new versions in the same store

I would've asked in the shop, there isn't normally a big variance in the price of consoles between shops as Sony and Xbox control the prices quite tightly. The margin at retail was only about 10% the last time I worked in that area. The makers also set the bundle deals which is why most places have the same offers.

Irrotational

I hate to be *that* guy but just be aware that E3 - the giant annual games show is in a couple of weeks. Both Sony and MS are rumoured (very likely) to be announcing new, more powerful versions of the consoles.

They *might* also announce a further drop on existing consoles.

If you just want to grab one now, then feel free, but if you can wait a couple of weeks then you might save a few quid.

Also check out "gold membership", its meant to be £40 a year but you get 4 games per month free with it, 2 xbox one games and 2 backwards compatible xbox 360 games...June is a pretty good month (check websites to see if you like the games). You can also get it for more like £30 a year via codes on cheap deal websites.
